Greetings for you all, for merry X'mas and a prosperous New year

The next initiative of LightandPath is to provide clothes (uniform) for students from a tribal school in Kurichiyad village in Wayand. Last week, few of us made a trip to Wayanad, and through the local well wishers we came to know the opportunities where our small financial contributions can make a huge impact on underpriviledged children.
The school in Kurichiyad village (Ekadhyapaka Vidhyalaya supported by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan- Kerala) and an Anganvadi (Pre-school) adjacent to it has 25 students in 4 classes (yes, its a primary school) and there are 13 students in the anganvadi. And the ground reality we witnessed was:

1) They do not have good clothes
2) They do not get medicine and treatment on time when they are sick
3) They do not get books (Afaik our government is supposed to supply books to these schools for free of cost)
4) The pre-school do not have any kind of benches/sheets for the kids to sit and of course no toys in the single room school

The expected cost of the initiative is Rs. 15000 and we look for your wholeheared contributon as small as rupees 200 to collect the required total amount. The account details follow:
