Our next activity in two schools at Wayanad and Aluva

Schools in the state will re-open after the summer vacation on Monday 4th June. And its the time most kids seek our help and support to make it to the schools and make this academic year a successful one. We have taken up two responsibilities this time.

 

 

 

 

 Chetti Alathur (a tribal village near Sulthanbathery) L P School

The school has 42 students and we have agreed to offer them umbrellas and note books. Each student will be offered an umbrella plus three note books.

 St Thomas High School, Ayroor, Aluva.

We have shortlisted 37 students in this school who really strive to come to make it to the school due to tight financial constraints in their families. It would be great if we could offer them:
 

• A pair of uniform for each
• Text books – I have talked to the school administrator and the price ranges from 160 to 220 for 6th to 10th standard books (The text books comes at a subsidised price from our goverment).
• 6 notebooks per student

 

 

The expected cost of the initiative is Rs. 25,000 and we look for your wholeheared contributon to collect the required total amount. As the schools re-open in a couple of days we plan to execute the project as soon as possible (by the end of next week). The account details follow:
